North Georgia Still really knocked this one out of the park!, September 29, 2017Okay, let me first say that I DID NOT buy my still through Amazon – I bought it directly from North Georgia Still Company. I found the product on Amazon, but decided to purchase direct. Regardless, the still that showed up at my front door (in just 3 days!), was absolutely beautiful and as promised. As for the folks at NGSC, all of my questions so far have been answered with enthusiasm and professionalism. Andrew is AWESOME! I am EXTREMELY happy with the still, and HIGHLY recommend NGSC and their products!!!!!!!!!!
Now, for the nitty gritty of finishing the setup: I searched high AND low (80 miles worth of driving!), and I was completely unable to locate 3/8” OD Shark Bite fittings. They make ID fittings, but of course, those won’t work. As such, I was forced to settle for compression fittings, which in the end, worked great. Total extra costs for parts for setup (which included all fittings, 10 feet of 3/8” OD copper tubing, a digital, programmable thermometer, and a sheet metal…
